CONNECTION TEAM - Members of the connection team will welcome the Students as they come in the door with enthusiasm and intentionality. Furthermore, members of the connection team are responsible for making sure students CHECK IN.
SLAM - Sound, Lights, and Media! This area runs sound for worship services and other special events. Sound works closely with the Youth Pastor, Lights, and Pro-Presenter. To serve in this area of ministry, specific training is required. Having an ear for sound, basic soundboard knowledge (preferably on a digital console), and submitting personal preference in order to work as a team is a MUST. Soundcheck is on Wednesday nights at 6:15 pm. Refer to General Requirements for more details.
- The MEDIA team runs lyrics for worship songs, sermon presentations, responsive reading, video presentations, and pre-/post-service audio. A basic concept of computers, typing, and troubleshooting is required to serve in this area of ministry. One month of training minimum is also required. Soundcheck for Pro-Presenter is on Wednesday nights at 6:15 pm. Refer to General Requirements for more details.
- LIGHTS! This area runs the light board for worship services and other special events. Lighting works closely with Sound and Pro-Presenter. To serve in this area of ministry, there is required training, and you will need to meet with the Youth Pastor (Gabe Sturgill). Soundcheck is Wednesday night at 6:15 pm. Refer to General Requirements for more details.
WORSHIP TEAM - VOCALISTS. To serve in this area of ministry, you will need to audition, attend 80% of rehearsals and worship opportunities, meet all general requirements, and have attended youth for a minimum of 4 months. Rehearsal is ON YOUR OWN. If the lack of excellence in self-preparation is apparent, it is up to the discretion of the youth pastor to delegate further service opportunities. Soundcheck for Praise Team is on Wednesday nights at 6:15 pm. Refer to General Requirements for more details.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
• A born-again Christian
• At least in 6th Grade, involved in Sunday school & Wednesday Night Discipleship.
• If new to SACOG, you must attend the church for 2 consecutive months (You may begin attending rehearsals/trainings in the 2nd month).
• You must attend 2 rehearsal/training sessions before participating in worship services.
• At least 75% attendance rate (3 out of 4)!! Sunday School is REQUIRED.
